With this in mind, we have compiled a list of trails with everything you need to know to make the correct selection.  We are here to ensure that your overnight trail is your dream come true.

OUR EXPERIENCE - Dont be fooled.  When it comes to riding the terrain with inexperienced riders, our experienced guides and horses will prove their worth.  Just having horses and a website does not always indicate experience, while Horse Trail Safaris have been in the saddle and doing trails successfully for the past 35 years.

MAXIMUM FLEXIBILITY - Our season runs longer due to our trails in the Karoo and we offer far more variety of trails than other operators without sacrificing our professionalism or success rate.  This allows for maximum flexibility when it comes to planning your vacation.  We also offer a variety of trails ranging from 1 day up to 14 days.  You can choose to live on the trail using our bush camps and farmhouses or you could lean to the more luxurious B&B or hotels.

FACT - Horse Trail Safaris is the only horse trail operators that can offer you a trail that will take  you from pristine beaches to rugged mountains to the unique game reserves of Africa to the peace and tranquility of the Little Karoo all in one 8 day trail.  Last, but certainly not least, for the true adventurer, enjoy the untamed vastness of Namibia and meet the statuesque Himba on your way to the magnificent Epupa Falls .

Horse Trail Safaris is also one of the only horse trail operators in the world who do trails at night.

CONSERVATION - Horse Trail Safaris is an avid environmental supporter and all our eco-friendly trails are geared towards this.  Our guides are well informed as to the fauna and flora in their immediate areas and will be happy to share that knowledge with you.

We also offer geo-caching on all our trails, so those with a GPS, bring it along and hunt the treasure.  You will be amazed at how infectuous this is and how everyone tends to get so involved to the extent that they end up taking over your treasure hunt.  Needless to say, great fun is had by all.
